My sister got a new kitten! I went over there and couldn't resist taking some photos before she gets bigger. She is the cutest thing ever! Now she has 2 kitties (Cali and Reese).

My friend Michelle and I went out to Vandussen gardens and took pictures of the beautiful flowers. It was a gorgeous day and I was so excited to see such a variety of them in bloom compared to what was there 2 months ago. Flowers are one of my favourite things to photograph.

While I'm on the topic of birds here are some photos that we took from our trip to Namibia and Botswana of all kinds of birds. There was such a huge variety of them there.


This little cutie is was my favourite. It's called
a malachite kingfisher and measures only about 2 inches!

Lilac breasted roller. Very common beautiful bird.
